Thred Up: How I Score Designer Finds for Less $$!

This post contains sponsored content on behalf of ThredUp, however, all thoughts and opinons are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that make Miss Moore Style possible!

It is no secret around here that I have a taste for the finer things in life, particularly when it comes to fashion. It is also no secret that I don’t exactly have the budget to buy those finer things! I fully intend to someday be successful and able to treat myself to a designer item here and there, but until then, I have to improvise a bit. I recently stumbled upon ThredUp, and immediately started searching the site for all the designers that I have long coveted, but could not afford. One that almost immediate came to mind was DVF! I have always wanted to own one of her iconic wrap dresses, so I set about browsing the selection of gently owned pieces to find one that was right for me.

Thred Up

One thing I will say: ThredUp has TONS of awesome, gently used designer pieces that you can score for ridiculously low prices. I had so many different DVF wrap dresses to choose from, but this pattern on this one just spoke to me! Initially, this dress was priced at about $80, but with a discount code, I got it for $49! I was seriously in disbelief about what a great deal I was getting, but just like when you know something is too good to be true, its best to not argue with it and take that deal and run!

When I received my dress, I was immediately amazed at how “brand new” feeling the dress was. Seriously, it was as though it had never been worn and was brand spanking new. I know it is weird, but I have really wanted one of these wrap dresses for YEARS, and to finally be able to add one to my wardrobe…it kinda felt like I had made this huge step in my sartorial life. Maybe this sounds silly, but to own one of these iconic pieces of fashion just makes me ridiculously happy, and I am so glad I got it at the amazing steal of a deal that I did! I am so glad that I discovered ThredUp, because I will definitely be checking out all their offerings to score more amazing fashion finds in the future.
