reality just yet, but that doesn’t mean I can’t get ready for fall with Dansko and share my must-have bootie for the fall/winter season!
Even though we may be experiencing summer in Southern California till about Christmas, let me tell you, the cold season comes swift and hard here! Last year, it rained so much, and as an Angeleno, I was not prepared to navigate the city in all the rain and the wetness. Ok, so here’s a couple reasons why the Dankso Perry is gonna be your new fav too: First of all, its made from waterproof leather. I mean seriously, weatherproof leather?! What a godsend! Finally, a cute pair of booties I don’t have to worry about splashing through puddles in! I also love that the TR Rubber Cup Sole is pretty slip proof, so even if there’s a monsoon in LA, your girl definitely won’t be trippin….or slippin. As far as comfort goes, it doesn’t get much better because these beauties feature a leather-covered, removable, molded PU footbed with memory foam for added cushioning. It seriously feels like you’re walking on air and I know with confidence I can run all the errands in these and not end my day with aching feet!
Now that we have gotten the function out of the way, let’s get to fashion! These ankle booties come in a couple other colors, but I’m partial to the black. The gradient heel is such a nice touch and I love the bit of hardware on the ankle. These booties are so versatile…you could wear them with the most casual of outfits, but also dress them up a bit and they work either way! I’m wearing them here with my unofficial early fall uniform: trousers, a lacy camisole, and a cardigan. They could also easily pair with a cute fall dress or jeans as well. I am loving how versatile these are as well as how great they are for dealing with the rainy season that will inevitably come to Los Angeles. My feet are not only going to be dry in these, but oh so chic at the same time!
