Ok, so….how is it May already?! With Cinco de Mayo right around the corner, I wanted to share a delicious Black Raspberry margarita recipe with you all that will be a tasty way to celebrate this holiday. If you’ve been around here for a little while, then you know that I do love me a cocktail, especially a margarita…check out this one I shared a couple years ago if you’re feeling adventurous! When it comes to a good margarita, I always try to use the most fresh ingredients I can get. This is a little bit of a twist on the classic margarita….instead of incorporating triple sec, this black raspberry margarita includes Chambord and pomegranate juice. I love the vibrant color these ingredients give this cocktail….its almost too pretty to drink….almost being the key word there!
Black Raspberry Margarita
- 1 1/2 oz Herradura Tequila Silver
- 3/4 oz Chambord Liqueur
- 3/4 oz pomegranate juice
- 1/2 oz fresh lime juice
- a lime and/or raspberries for garnish
Pour all the ingredients into a shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously, then strain into a margarita glass, martini glass, or a rocks glass filled with ice, garnish, and enjoy! Cheers to Cinco de Mayo and to hopefully having a much more fun Cinco than last year!
Before we go, I just have to shout out this dress because I recently scored it from Shein and I’m obsessed! I’m pretty sure its a dupe for the much more expensive Sundress brand that you may have seen on Revolve or one of your favorite influencers on IG. This Shein version is a fraction of the price of the Sundress version, and it has all the fun whimsy and girliness…I mean look at the pom poms on the shoulder ties! I’m not saying you have to get this dress for summer….but yeah I kinda am. Get it. Thank me later.
