Well, here we are, folks! Less than a week and counting until New Year’s Day! I hope you all thoroughly enjoyed your Christmas or are still currently enjoying Chanukah. I had a quiet but awesome Christmas myself, and Santa was very good to me, although I’m not sure why because I think I’ve been entirely naughty this year. Oh well, I guess he doesn’t see everything! 😉 Now that we have Christmas behind us, it is time to start thinking about what the hell you’re gonna wear for NYE. In my opinion, no matter what you are doing, you gotta bring the New Year in right, and that means you gotta be looking your best, even if your best is your favorite pajamas while you watch the ball drop at midnight.

Obviously, this outfit is not for chillin’ on your couch on NYE, although I guess it could be if you lounge around in evening wear, a la Mariah Carey. I usually opt for something super sparkly on NYE, but I found this sultry maxi skirt-body suit combo to be a really glam and different departure from the normal sequin-encrusted frock. One thing I love about this is the fact that it is two pieces: you have your bodysuit and a wrap maxi skirt. This way, you can show as much leg as you want without fearing that high slit because…it’s a bodysuit! I will say that I safety-pinned the top of this skirt just a tad at the top because it was just a little bit too much leg for me. Of course, I can’t do NYE without any sparkle, so I decided to add the sparkle in with my accessories. I mean, can we talk about these shoes?! They definitely pack some serious glitter, even the ball in Times Square might be jealous!
