Holiday Velvet with a Touch of Vintage

She wore pink velvet…that’s how the song goes, right?! Ok, maybe not. However, I am all about this velvet trend as of late, and I absolutely love it for the holiday season! Holiday velvet looks are kind of my jam, and I am loving putting a little twist on the theme by going with pink, rather than a typical holiday color like red or green. This wrap number from Just Fab is flattering on any body type, and it is so very affordable. I also really love wearing it more casual like with a white t-shirt layered under and some more comfortable shoes. Either way, it works, and it will take you through the holiday season and beyond.

I decided to channel my inner French girl with this a bit and throw on a beret. Funny how a beret just gives everything that French je ne sais quoi, non? See what I did there? I can still speak a little Francaise 😉

As for this jacket, I am sorry to say, it is that touch of vintage that this post’s title was hinting at, so alas, I can not link to it. But how freaking gorgeous is this?! I found this on one of the hottest of hot days last summer a this tiny vintage shop called Recollection LA that I stumbled in in Silver Lake.
