For those of you you don’t live in Los Angeles, this amazing setting I shot in yesterday is called “Urban Light,” which is a large- scale assemblage sculpture by Chris Burden. The sculpture is comprised of 202 restored street lights from the 1920’s and 1930’s that once actually lit the streets of Southern California. This sculpture is one of my favorite landmarks in this city, I think it looks so magical, especially at night when they are all lit:
Because I was in such an artsy-type setting, I decided to go with some very artsy, geometric printed pants, or as my boyfriend likes to call them, my “ugly pants.” He may not like them, but every time I wear them out I always get so many compliments on them. In fact, after shooting this post, I walked down to the Diane Von Furstenberg exhibit (pics of that to come soon!), and one of the girls working there thought they were DVF! Hah! Who’s making fun of these pants now?!
Happy Hump Day and as always, thanks for reading! xo
