In terms of fashion and film, what could be more iconic than Audrey Hepburn in “Roman Holiday”? When I was planning on what to wear during the last leg of my trip, all I wanted to do was channel the chic and timeless elegance of Princess Anne as portrayed by Audrey Hepburn in the 60’s.
I have reached the last city in my Europe travels, Rome! The city of Rome was one that I had looked forward to visiting as it is so ancient and filled with history. Right after getting settled in our Airbnb, my friend and I took a very brief walk to visit our first Roman landmark: the Colosseum.
Sundresses are my go-to for beating the summer heat, and this was especially true throughout my trip to Europe. While Paris was a bit more chilly, summer was alive and well throughout my adventures in Italy. We only had one day in the city of Florence, but it was a beautiful and warm one!
When they say that the city of Venice is sinking, they really are not joking. On the second day of my trip to Venice, I learned that the hard way…but I will get to that in a bit. First of all, let’s talk about
Venice, Italy is without a doubt one of the most incredible cities you will ever see. Don’t get me wrong, more than anything I was excited to see Paris and loved every minute there, but nothing has ever amazed me as much as Venice.
Happy weekend everyone, I hope you are enjoying this summer sun! I’ve been sharing my travels in Europe over the past two weeks, and I’ve now got some awesome photos from Barcelona, Spain to share with you!
Alright, so I am not going to set myself up as an expert in how to get that certain “je ne sais quoi” that French women tend to have. I will however give you my observations while I share this outfit that I wore on our last day of our stay in Paris.
Who would’ve thought that I’d be giving 4th of July vibes while in Paris? I mean, you could technically also just call it French vibes since their flag is the same colors…just sayin’!
As I uploaded the pictures for this post, I couldn’t help but be a little sad that I am not in Paris right now! One of my favorite aspects about being in Paris and being abroad in general is the fact that you basically walk everywhere. I loved just wandering the streets of Paris without any agenda
Guess who’s baaaaack? If you have been following along on instagram and snapchat, (msmoorestyle) then you have to be aware that I have been running all around Europe for the last couple weeks. Accompanied by my friend Wendy, I visited Paris, Barcelona, Venice, Florence, and Rome. This trip was something that I have wanted to do for such a long time, so I decided that there was no time like the present to fulfill a dream I’ve had for many years. I had the time of my life, and I want to share a bit of my travels with you. In honor of this, for the next week or so, my posts will not only be about fashion, but also about the experiences I had in these cities.
