bridal essentials

Well, the wedding planning continues over here, and so does my obsession with making sure every last detail is perfect! I’ve got an awesome roundup of some of my bridal essentials for you. Seriously y’all, wedding planning is no joke. Thank God our venue is kind of all-inclusive so I don’t have to think about a whole chunk of things too much…which…by the way…we settled on our date and venue finally! I’m not going to give away our venue just yet, but our date is set for September 28th 2018! It is so crazy when you set the date. It makes it so real. Which means I absolutely have to get my ass in gear and start nailing some other stuff down. If you’re in my position, I hope these essentials give you a little inspo and help make your life a little easier!

Maidenform Shapewear

Ok, so I won’t lie. Every time I see shapewear, that Bridget Jones quote comes to mind: “…chances of reaching crucial moment greatly increased by wearing these scary, stomach-holding-in-pants very popular with grannies the world over.” Sure, shapewear isn’t the sexiest thing ever. But, it does make you look sexier in your dress! This particular piece gives you a firm foundation and is awesome because it is anti-static, is breathable, and seamlessly gives you that hourglass shape under your outfit. As far as bridal essentials go, this is definitely one that can’t be missed!

Nair Wax Ready Strips for Face & Bikini

bridal essentials

One thing that is most definitely in my bridal essentials is getting rid of all that unwanted hair. One way I do this and save a little money is do at home waxing, which honestly I like better than going to a salon because it just gives me so much more anxiety while I’m waiting for someone else to do the yanking. Nair hair removal makes this so easy and mess free, which I love. The best part is, waxing with Nair lasts 8 weeks, which is way better than constantly having to shave all the time.
