One thing that I am kind of the worst at is remembering to schedule my routine checkups, especially my eye exams. Of course, I know I should be a responsible adult and think of these things in advance before I’m on my last pair of contacts that I’ve been wearing for way too long, but alas, I can’t say that I am adulting at that level yet. One thing that I am grateful for in my dire need is the Target Optical® Center. Seriously, they truly save me every time! As soon as I find myself in a desperate contact situation, I know I can pop right on their website and schedule an eye exam in minutes. I had to do just that last week, so I wanted to share this valuable, adulting hack so that you too can get your eye appointment scheduled quickly and efficiently exactly when you need it!

My particular eye-mergency this time around wasn’t quite so dire as ripping my last pair of contacts, but I have been looking to switch up my contacts lately. I don’t know about you, but I’ve had so much trouble trying to find the right brand of contacts for my eyes. Every day, I have some sort of issue, whether my eyes are itchy, constantly watering, or just irritating. Some friends of mine had recommended I try out 1-DAY ACUVUE® MOIST contacts as they wear them and swear by how comfortable they have been in their personal experiences. At this point, I am willing to try whatever I can to help with all the eye drama in my life.

Scheduling my appointment online was a breeze, as Target Optical® has made it so easy to find and book appointments on their website. You can check that out here! I think I got all squared away in under five minutes, and they even had an appointment for me later that same afternoon. When I arrived for my appointment, I did my best to put my blinders on and walk straight past the women’s clothing department and straight to the optometrist’s office…that was probably the hardest part of this whole process! The doctor was very attentive and took a lot of time to address my individual concerns with my eyes. Based on my various issues, she recommended that I try the 1-DAY ACUVUE® MOIST lenses as I may find them to be more comfortable than the monthly lenses I’ve been wearing for years. She even gave me a couple pairs to try, and I have to say I’m pretty obsessed with how they feel! They’re so light, I can barely tell that I’m wearing contacts, which is exactly what I want. I’m excited to receive my new prescription and switch over to the 1-DAY ACUVUE® MOIST lenses; I can definitely see why all my friends raved about them for so long!

If you’ve been wanting to try contact lenses but haven’t taken the plunge yet, I fully recommend doing so. As much as I love wearing glasses, I just can’t get by without my contacts. Follow this link for handy info for how to put in contacts, as well as useful info for new contact wearers!

Available by prescription only for vision correction. Ask your doctor if ACUVUE® Brand— is right for you. Although rare, serious eye problems can develop while wearing contact lenses. Talk to your eye doctor about proper wear and care. Ask your doctor for important use and safety information, or see acuvue.com

I recently made the same switch and visited the Target Optical® center for an exam too. The process was so easy and I love how I could just schedule online for a time that worked great for ME. #client
