Three Denim Trends To Try NOW, Plus Where To Shop Them

IMG_5744

Does your denim need an update? You might not think so, but think again, because this season’s denim is anything but boring. I’m not telling you to toss out your regular ol’ skinnies just yet, because those will always have a place in your closet, but this fall’s denim is all about being a little off-beat and fun. I’ve got some awesome updates for your denim so keep on reading to get the skinny (or not) on the jeans you will want in your closet!

EMBROIDERED DETAILS

Embroidered denim is such a fun and quirky trend this fall. I have definitely already jumped on this train with my own DIY denim jacket I made myself (check that out here), but you can also incorporate this trend by grabbing some jeans that have fun patches. The embroidered trend really gives any look a more fun and whimsical vibe.

 PATCHWORK

Patchwork denim takes repairing your whole-y jeans to a new level. Designers are covering jeans in all kinds of patches and using color-blocking patterns to create some really visually interesting pairs of pants. These patches just add a whole other dimension to any look.

RAW & UNEVEN HEMS
I love this trend because this is something you can easily do yourself…in fact, I’m thinking about doing this to an old pair of jeans and filming the DIY, so stay tuned for that! I love raw and uneven hems because they give your look a little bit of edge. Also, because they tend to be a little bit higher than your ankle, they show off whatever pair of awesome shoes you’re wearing just that much better.

I’ve been enjoying seeing this trend with denim take off, and everyone pinning and sewing different things to jackets. So cool & chic! xx Adaleta Avdic
