Ok, so its time to get some new clothes for school, but you also want to sport the latest trends. The good news: I got you! This outfit is full of awesome trends for fall and is also super comfortable and perfectly casual in that I-didn’t-try-that-hard-but-damn-I’m-stylin sort of way. Let me break it down for you:
Bomber Jackets: If you weren’t aware that bomber jackets are HUGE this year, well, you’re probably living under a rock. The fact is, the bomber is THE jacket you will want to have this fall. The good news is that you can find then in all different colors or levels of embellishment. I went with the classic olive green option, but seriously, there are tons of options out there! Make sure you check out my “Shop the Post” widget below for more on that!
Statement Jeans: This fall, you can let your skinny jeans go on a little bit of a vacay. I think that skinny jeans will always have a place in your closet and are still totally wearable this fall, however, this fall it really is all about jeans that have a more relaxed fit with quirky details. One style that is hot right now is the unfinished, uneven hem, as I am wearing here. I think I should get extra credit for the fact that the stripe down the legs is a darker color. But honestly, look for jeans with cool details and you are on the right track!
Creepers: Creepers are basically like sneakers, only they look kinda like oxfords with a big platform, and they’re super quiet to walk in…I guessing that’s how they got their name! I won’t lie, I was a tiny bit hesitant to wear these as I felt like they make my feet look big, but with the likes of Stella McCartney and Prada sending these down the runway, I gave them a try and I actually really love them! Plus they won’t hurt your feet if you have a long walk across campus between classes.
Now, let’s talk about the accessories. As if you can’t already tell, I do love me some gold accents. This S’well water bottle was a recent find and I am in love with it! Not only does it just look fantastic, its also insulated so it keeps your cold drinks cold for 24 hours, and hot drinks hot for 12 hours! A major selling point to me was the fact that it doesn’t get a bunch of annoying condensation on the outside. Yay for a non-sweaty water bottle!
The other notable mention here are these gorgeous Frends headphones. These are as much an accessory as they are a music listening device, plus they sound awesome! One thing I love about these is the fact that the gold caps can pop off and be replaced with any other cap sold by Frends, so you can match your headphones to whatever outfit you’re wearing.
