If there is one thing that I have been loving lately, it is some minimal fashion. I have been pinning and double tapping it constantly, but I never seem to be able to figure out how to pull it off right for myself. I mean, you would think it would be easy, right? It is minimalism after all! What I have found is there is a fine line between being minimal and just…boring. I think the key is to choose simple pieces that have some sort of interest to them, in this case grommets, and keeping your color palette as monochromatic as possible. And voila! You have minimalism without being blah!
On another note, let’s talk matching sets. I read an article at Refinery 29 saying that two-piece sets are the new jumpsuit. While I wouldn’t go THAT far (because let’s be honest: jumpsuits are still awesome too), today’s matching two-piece set is not your mamma’s two-piece set. Also, they not only give you a fool-proof outfit, but also awesome separates to mix with other pieces in your wardrobe. So go ahead, get matchy-matchy. Its the new not matchy. 😉
