In case you haven’t noticed, clothes that you once thought were appropriate only for breaking a sweat in have now gone mainstream. Seriously, they have done a full on crossover, like Taylor Swift going from a country darling to a mega pop-star. Everywhere you look, it seems like some super fashionable chick is pairing her track pants with high heels, or her cocktail dress with sneakers. If these outfits seem like too much of a fashion risk for you, never fear! Embracing the “athleisure” trend can be done in a much less daring way. Sweatshirts are a great way to do this. Lately, the sweatshirt has been popping up left and right in awesome prints, luxe fabrics, or with fun details. Because of this, they are easily incorporated in your non-sweat session outfits. To elevate the look a little bit, I like to layer a collared button down underneath. You could even make this office appropriate with a pencil skirt and heels. As long as the rest of your outfit doesn’t scream “let’s get physical,” you can’t go wrong.
