In case you all aren’t following along with my adventures on Instagram or Snapchat, (@msmoorestyle) I had the privilege of going to see the Foo Fighters play at the Forum last Monday night. I like the Foo Fighters as much as the next person I suppose, but my boyfriend has been a huge fan for a while, so I figured some awesome seats for their concert that conveniently fell a couple of days after his birthday would make a great present. I have to say, it was probably one of the best shows I think I’ve ever been to! Seriously, if you have the chance to see the Foo Fighters live, do it. To make things even more exciting, they brought Stevie Nicks onstage to sing a couple of songs and I pretty much died on the spot.
This outfit is pretty much your typical, “I’m-going-to-a-rock-concert” outfit, with a couple exceptions. The first of which are these thigh high boots. I just got these, and am obsessed with them! I have been searching civilization high and low for an affordable pair of thigh high boots and I finally found them. I think they give this look a bit more of an edge and uniqueness than just wearing booties or sneakers might have done. Second, this t-shirt. This shirt used to be my dad’s and I found it in an abandoned box of his old stuff during high school. Since it was so big, I brilliantly decided to sew it smaller to fit me, but as I truly suck at sewing, it’s now coming apart and is partly held together by safety pins. I could try to resew it again, (my sewing skills have in no way improved, by the way) but I think the safety pins kind of add to the whole rock n’ roll vibe.
Thanks for reading, have a great weekend! xo
