This post contains two things I never thought would come back in style: short-alls and sunglass straps. Sure, I loved overalls as much as the next girl did back in the 4th and 5th grades. Even though we really only shopped at Dillard’s because we got my grandmother’s lifetime employee discount, I begged and begged my mom to let me get a couple pairs of those delicious pastel colored short-alls from GAP kids. Let’s be honest: you’re gonna feel a little weird when you put these things on again for the first time in 15 years. You might have flashbacks of hanging upside down off of the monkey bars or doing that cool jump-out-of-the-swing backwards trick. Once you get past that, you’ll realize that short-alls are so damn comfortable, you really don’t care if people are confused about your age when wearing them. However, if you still feel weird, fix that by wearing a small crop top underneath and show some skin. Your former elementary-age self definitely didn’t do that…right?
On another note, sunglass straps. Seriously, I would’ve never thought that you could take something so dated and make it fashionable, but head over to Sintillia and you will find that you suddenly need to have a chain that allows you to hang your sunglasses from your neck. These sunglass straps are so pretty and they come in all different styles. If you feel so inclined to snag one, make sure you save yourself 15% by using my code “MissMore.”
Thanks for reading, have a great Sunday! xo
