Who says that you can only wear suede in the fall and winter? Obviously, I do not subscribe to that idea, because I am loving my new suede mini skirt. Leather has pretty much made the crossover from being a cold-weather staple to something you can wear year round. The trick to wearing leather in summer is to keep it light. Sure, you could wear your leather pants in this 90+ degree weather, but you’ll probably have to peel them off your legs later that night. Leather in these temps is much more enjoyable if it’s in a silhouette that allows you to actually breathe, like a mini skirt. The good news is, this skirt works great for summer, but will also be perfect in the fall with tights and boots. Since August is when I usually stop buying summery pieces and start looking for pieces to add to my fall wardrobe, this skirt was a great find because it can get a lot of use regardless of the season.
Thanks for reading, have a great afternoon!
