Weekend Outfit Formula

IMG_5867When the weekend hits, I just want to kick back and relax. Part of relaxing means not spending a lot of time in your closet wondering what the heck to wear. Because of this, I have a couple go-to outfit formulas to save my precious weekend time for more fun things, like brunching or flea-marketing or doing nothing. This particular formula goes a little something like this: Fun, printed tee + skinny jeans + ballet flats + light jacket + cute purse + big sunglasses (just in case yesterday’s brunch turned into a lot more than brunch) = an outfit that’s easy to pull together fast but also makes you look put together. If you want, you can always sub out the ballet flats for sneakers which looks equally cute. If you live anywhere besides Southern California, you might also want to wear a heavier coat, since you probably aren’t experiencing the 75 and sunny Sunday that we are enjoying here today. Sorry, not sorry, I just have to brag a little about that every once in a while. 😉
